Who we are

This privacy policy applies to leavetheloveincs.com, trading as Leave in CS. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights described below, email giftsmithart@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect the information needed to process it: your name, email address, shipping address and order details. If you contact us by email or on Instagram, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

We also collect basic, aggregated information about how the site is used through Google Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location, device type and browser.

How we use it

• to process, produce and ship your order
• to send order confirmations and tracking information
• to answer your messages and provide support
• to handle returns, damage claims and refunds
• to understand how the site is used so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

• Performance of a contract — producing, shipping and supporting your order.
• Legal obligation — keeping transaction records where tax law requires it.
• Legitimate interests — preventing fraud and understanding site usage in aggregate.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Your card details go directly to them. We never see or store full card numbers on this website. Their own privacy policies govern that data.

• Google Analytics, for aggregate site usage

Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, it is covered by those providers standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Order and transaction records — 7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
• Email and message correspondence — 2 years from the last message.
• Analytics data — 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time. Email giftsmithart@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents

If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA and CPRA. Email us at the address above to make a request.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the shopping cart and checkout to work. These cannot be switched off without breaking the store. We also use analytics cookies to understand site usage, which you can block in your browser settings.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Data breaches

If a breach affects your personal information and creates a risk to you, we will notify you by email and inform the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as required by law.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page and revise the date below.
